JARATech has been hired by Microsoft to do the Technical Review on some of the new Windows Vista courses.  Additionally, we have either written or have done the Quality Control on scores of Hands-on-Labs for Tech Ed, TechReady, Windows Server 2008 Jumpstart, Microsoft Dynamics, to name a few.  These labs include GPO, QoS, WDS, IE7, Windows Vista, Application Compatibility, System Center Cofiguration Manager, and more.

Besides for these services, we have also gone into different companies, from mid-size law firms, to large financial companies to consult on SMS 2003.  As well as the Active Directory roll-out for a small non-profit, migrating from Windows NT, while keeping the legacy NetBIOS name for the downlevel client OS's.

These are some of the jobs we are currently working on:

SQLSoft: Through a Partenrship with SQLSoft, Inc, Joe will be working on development and modification of courses for Microsoft Learning in technologies like MDOP (Microsoft Desktop Optimaization Pack).

getVIRTUALnow Launch: Microsoft is releasing Hyper-V, App-V, SCVMM and several other products.  To celebrate these releases, and to showcase the products, a Launch even was held in Seattle on September 8, 2008.  Joe Lurie was selected as the SME for the App-V (formerly SoftGrid) hands-on-labs, as well as several other labs.

Microsoft Learning: Through Grandmasters, Inc.Joe has been selected as a Lead Item Writer for a new exam soon to be released on Windows Vista and Office 2007 deployment.

SoftGrid Administration: Through a Partnership with AXIS Technology, LLC , Joe Lurie, our Senior Consultant, is currently working as a SoftGrid Administrator at a "large financial firm based in Boston."  As part of his duties, he is assisting with Sequencing, troubleshooting, writing policies and SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures).

Microsoft Partner Prep courses:  Through a Partnership with New Horizons of Boston, Joe continues to teach the Microsoft Partner Prep courses for Windows Vista Deployment, Windows Server 2008 and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM 2007).
